Nominations are open!

Nominations for the 2026–2027 NEU Trafford District Committee are now open.

The nomination period runs from 24 March 2026 until 4pm on 21 April 2026.

If you wish to put yourself forward for a District Committee role, please note the following requirements:

• All nominations must include both a proposer and a seconder. (This could be a colleague at your setting)
• Your proposer and seconder must be current NEU members.
• You will need their NEU membership numbers, which can be found via myNEU.
• Any roles with more than one nomination (other than committee members and auditors (2x)) will proceed to an election. Voting forms will be issued after nominations close. (Unless both parties have selected they are willing to job-share the role - this will be confirmed if needed, at the AGM or prior by the Returning Officer)
